Latest news

10-1-10: Preparation for the 2010 British 125 Championship is well under way and after a very successful 2009 season rider Brian Clark and team owner Pete Banks are pleased to announce they will be back together again making a serious challenge to win the championship. Much hard work is going on with the bike at present being stripped down to the last nut and bolt. Also as some of you will already know both Brian and Pete are trying very hard to raise some sponsorship to make sure they have the best parts available in their quest to win the title.

Locally we have five new backers on board, The Widdrington Inn, HFF Groundworks and Drainage Ltd, Puffin Cruises Amble, Jubilee Caravan Storage Centre Ashington and PC Performance Bikes Dyno Centre Ashington who have kindly offered the use of their dyno to help set-up the new engine parts which will be a great help as serious testing on track is out of the question this time of year.

The push still goes on to find a title sponsor for the team but we feel with a few more smaller local backers we will be ready to fight for the title. If anyone can think of a company or individual who would like to be a part of this friendly team please pass this email on to them or ask them to phone Pete on 07762 428210 or contact him via the website at www.banksracing125.com

We are having some wall planners made with advertising space on them and again contact Pete if you would like to help and in return get a few planners and team news updates for a very reasonable outlay.

Matthew Paulo has moved on for 2010 but the team are looking to continue helping another young rider and make their path into top flight racing both a little easier and quicker.

Once again many thanks to our old and new supporters and finally it’s time for Brian and Pete to wish everybody a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Pete and Brian.
